How is everybody in the storm areas? They are warning on ABC News to clean roofs because there is going to be collapses. One thread today already showed a shed collapse.

The storm we had in N.E. 2 weeks ago, collapsed over a hundred roofs in CT. Good Luck to all. Rick

A roof iin western OK collapsed, killing at least one.

We're not used to heavy snowfall here.

Please be careful. If you HAVE to get up to clean off a roof, do it as safely as possible.

If you insist on not doing it safely, at least set up a video camera so we can watch it later after you upload it from hospital.

Got about 6 inches so far, not supose to quit til noonn tomorow. Put in about 1 1/2 hrs on the Blue Mule this evening so the first wave is done. I will have to get up about 5:00 tomorrow and work on the second batch. This one is wet but with 20 mph wind is still drifting.

it is a very wet heavy snow, about 12 inches this time. The ol' 446 got a workout today.  About an hour into pushing I noticed I had lost control of the blade direction, and yep, a weld had broke . So I opened the garage door, pulled the tractor up to the door, and cleaned up the break and hooked up and re-welded it.  Not the prettiest weld but functional.  It held the rest of the day.  I finally got done with my and my neighbors driveways about 5 pm.  I had started pushing snow this morning around 10..

No big amounts of snow here at all this winter.

My roof is very steep, so snow doesn't build up too bad on it!

The news just said that the kids in one school were trapped there for the night because of slick roads.

This cotton pickin storm seems to have stalled out over central a iowa! Now they are saying the snow will run through tomorrow morning.

Went out at 5:30 to clear the drive and got in at 6:45. Got the wife to work on time at 7:30 and I got to work at 8:45.
