First one this year is on the ground.  With the snow storm headed this way they are camped out in the old barn.

Boy, How I remember those days. Seems like the only time we want to drop in the winter is during a big storm. I've spent many a night in the barn waiting and watching.

Congratulations.  Looks like mom and baby are both well.  I hope the weather doesn't keep them in too long.

Does anyone remember calf pullers and nipple buckets? How about Kafa powdered milk supplement for calves? Yeah, been there done that! Bag baulm, tinture of violet ?

I will have four little goat bucks that will be getting that treatment in about 2 months!!!

 

 

Nice baby calf, we had two baby goats about 2 weeks ago, luckily she had them in the early evening, I was home in bed by 9:30

Looking healthy. Two black angus so far for this year. They are going pretty healthy. Do you happen to raise any other kind of critters?

remember??? Is it remembering if you have that stuff on your shelves and use it every spring???
