Rode BMP to the Rattle Snake Hunt / Tractor Show today. Very small town event as you can see. Most eventful was ther old west show where they do an old fasion shoot out that involves a cannon. When the cannon went off a lady had a heart attack. They ran out of Rattle snake before I could get a plate. Had a lot of interest in BMP, and rode arown town a while (checking out yard sales) Saw a JD L130 for sale for $150.00. Enjoyed the ride there and back. Here are some pictures.

Looks like a fun day. Did they have TV cameras on Bibby? If so, I hope you got a "GTtalk" chant going! On another note, I am glad to see he is still handling snakes after his injury!

Looks like there were more bikes than people at one point. Does the fried snake sell that well or were they just not prepared for the number that show up. The weather worked out good for y'all and fun for all with some nice looking tractors besides the bikes.

I heard the handler lost his leg some time a while back, didn't know his name but knew he was widely known, in the last picture you can see his prostics. He also looked to have a hard time getting around. Other than the ambulance (the woman was sitting up when they loaded her up) it was a nice event. I enjoyed the ride there and back. I was waiting for lunch, but they put "out of snake" sign out around 11:30. So I had a Oglesby VFD Brisquet sandwich, and a Bikers Sausage on a stick. I may take RED there tomorrow just to get some seat time, and possibly get a sample of snake.

Yes, it is a nice super M, I was able to check it out in detail. real nice paint, the only complaint I would have is the fan belt was painted, which tells me the tractor (at least the engine) was painted as one unit. The weather is light jacket / tshirt. Tomorrow will be warmer, but we are in for a cold snap next week. Gotta grab seat time when I can.

That is Jacky Bibby, he was on Rattlesnake Republic. The ending to the last episode they had was him laying in a hospital bed, he was taking a video of himself saying how he might lose his leg.

I've never eaten rattlesnake, does it taste like chicken ?

Not the couple of times I've had it, but from other people's opinions on what we were eating, it seemed we had a bad batch. Not even close to being as good as Rocky Mountain Oysters, imo.

Larry? High 50's, low to mid 60's is not a cold snap.........

It is down here, where no one owns a coat, and shorts and T's are worn almost year round.
