Went out to take the 1253 to the shed for winter broke the drag link,While tilling the garden the stud for the lift arm broke off the tiller(fixed that), The one drive belt i had left broke (was hoping it would last till i got my rebuilt driveshaft) fixed it), was going to post pics of my homemade compost tumbler forgot to put card in camera, I think that all.:wallbanging: GOING TO SIT AND HAVE A BEER NOW LOL

It seems like when 1 thing goes wrong a whole bunch of other things go wrong...

Some days just go like that. I call them "Farmer Days"! But they can be trucker days, office days, whatever days! LOL

I say that all the time! The worst is when you have to fix your tools before you can fix the broke thing that you're trying to use! LOL I fix cranes for a living and I have my share of those days too. I say that on those days I have the inverted midas touch...when everything I touch turns to you-know-what!

well all that said I was really happy with the bolens after changing the drive belts and adding a new tension spring, Made a big difference in the way the tractor moved:smile1:
anyone here in NY close to Cato NY? its near Syracuse, Baldwinsville.

yea me too, and am not going to have time to get there for a few weeks but found a treasure there id like to get there is a ride o matic there only 50.00 right now

yea im hoping i can get it and the guy has room to hang on to it for a bit it looks a little rough but i really want one to restore
