Never seen one with a built in AC  generator. I think it's a little over priced. Thanks for posting Peter.

Just the tractor and blade for 2500 does seem pretty steep.

If he gets a small tractor with a loader in trade, may beat some of the best deals I have seen here on the site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But I would like a close up on how that generator works!! That set up might be priceless if it works! Somebody find out how he did that please and share. I have considered taking an big alternator I have that is set up for 3pt and changing it to a front mount for one of my bush hogs......only thing stopping me is time, money, and the skill.

thanks peter for the post!

Years ago there was a kit that JC Whitney sold. It would convert the output of an alternater to 110v dc. It worked with a bunch of things that didn't need the 60 hz. I think that is just a converter. Attach it to the battery and you get 120v ac. HF had them on sale. I think a 400w was on sale for $20.

Try this page  http://www.harborfre...ult/?q=inverter

The fliers that are mailed to your home, will have better prices.

I'd like to see this 'on board generator'. Doesn't show in any of the pics, unless it's inside the outlet box.

I'm betting it's just an inverter added somewhere.  It sure just looks like a std steel outlet box for a house, and not like anything that would have been OE.

Could something like that run a drill, saw, etc and be that small?? The alternator I have is big and heavy.....about 22-24" long 10-12" wide and tall....but it can run anything up to a refrigerator - 220 outlet plus 4 or so 110 outlets.....

Way over priced. I never saw someone mount a generator under a GT like that. Doesn't look like a lot of ground clearance. He is running it off the manual PTO. Then he mounted a 4 gang box with an outlet.

I wouldn't pay more that $500 for it. Heck the paint is peeling off in spots and he used tech screws to mount some of the tin.

If that is worth $2500 then I should be able to get 20K for mine :D :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana:

Chris, I didn't even see the AC generator under the belly.  It blends right into the blacktop!

Interesting.....so he moves the left side lever forward to engage?? Was this something set up for a snow blower and he adapted the generator/alternator to it?

Good eye Chris....I missed it the first 2 TIMES!!
