I have a Kohler KT 17 shooting gas out the carburetor 2 or 3 feet. I was plowing snow it was running fine then black smoke oil gas went all over the place. I clean it up today and started it up and gas was coming out the carburetor. I rebuild the carburetor and its still shooting gas out. Need Help Thanks

Sounds like a bad intake valve seat to me, unless you have an electric fuel pump on steroids

You sure it's running on both cylinders?  Those are well know to break a rod and put hole in case on one side and still run well on other. Pull plugs one at time and see if running both.  the valve drive systems are very close to the point of hole breaking out on ones I've seen. I bought one on a PK once that ran to get it off the trailer and when torn down, had NO oil in it and big hole in side of case and non-moving piston still in the bore!
