That's the true sign of an attachment disorder....can't bear to be apart from his machine. Other than that, his wife told him to sell it so he's going to give it a try and when the tractor doesn't sell he'll be able to say, "Well, I tried but no one would buy it." :bigrofl:

I went to an auction one time and the seller had 4 DB walkers.  Two were restored with genuine Allstate tires.  Two were running with wrong engines, pickup tires and 50 year old rust patina.  The tractors were sommon ones - no Continental engines and there was only a 6 inch plow and a homemade sulky attachment.  The auctioneer said "Those are quite collectibles,  Who'll start them at $300?"  One guy raised his hand - the auctioneer called for another bid - of course he didn't get one.   Auctioneer said  "SOLD $300 - you want them all don't you?"   The guy said "yes"  He dropped $1200 in less than 30 seconds!

I think it was his first ever auction.

I believe it's a 5752 tractor. Looks like a spring clutch, has wrong motor, wrong tires, and wrong pulley. It has recoil start so he probably cut the hood to make it fit. I offered him $50 for it.

He was probably watching American Restoration. Now will be the time to sell Bradleys since people think they are worth big money.

Ebay has a MF 1450 "parts tractor" for sale for $800. Missing the engine and "many other parts" that I would put in the same category except it did have nice tires. lol
