I was working in the shop tonight and thought, WOW, I've got a lot of projects going and need to get a list of what needs to be done so I can finish them. I thought it might be neat (or not) to see what everyone else has backed up on the to do list.

Here Goes,

1. Finish striping and prepping the M/W Squire 6 for paint and assembly.

2. Start restore on Bush Hog D4-12.

3. JD 140 H3 Kubota Diesel conversion, frame is stripped down ,awaiting fitting of engine.

4. JD 317, finish Power Steering conversion and finish painting tractor.

5. WH Bronco 14, finish installing engine to be used as main mower this year.

6. WH Vac system installed on Auto14 for grass and leak collection this summer and fall.

7. Help Dad get some of his projects done.

8. Don't list anymore, you have more then you can get done in the next 2 years already. :wallbanging:

Sounds like you have quite the list! Ill post some pics of everything I have later but heres a little taste of mine not nearly quite as busy but its interesting to see what everyone else is up to.

1. Got the diesel stripped down to the frame and engine. Awaiting the first stage of paint and a rebuild of the tranny for harrisburg.

2. Picked up a plow for the sears 10e thatll be on its way soon. Will have to see how it mounts up.

3. Find out to mount a pto switch on the zero turn. Someone said it appears to be a ram? An early version built around the same time frame as dixon came along but alot harder to find. Not sure what to do with it yet.

4. Get the engine back in voodoo that we rebuilt for it for pulling season (hopefully)

5. Not sure about the wheel horse yet??

6. No idea what else im getting myself into i probably have other projects but nothing major.

I really don't know if I should be doing this, it could be a little scary to actuallly see it all in a list.

1. Finish rebuiding the engine and tear down for restoring Power Ho number 1

2. Rebuild carb and rewire the bolens 650 along with rebuilding the gear box for the deck,

3. Get back to the rebuild on the engine for Bolens 1000, also tear down and paint.

4. Do the same to Power Ho number 2 as number 1.

5. Rebuild the 8R6 for Power Ho number 3.

6. Rebuild the hyd. pump for FEL on the Sears SS-14.

7. Go through, rebuild and get running numbers7-9. More on that in the next couple of weeks.

8.

9.

10. Go through the LT1000 (craftsman,  primary mower) to try and limp it along for one more year.

11. Pull the engine off my dads AC 712 to rebuild it.

12. The same to my brothers AC 716

13. Put the engine back together on the Midland walk behind.

14. Bend a sheild for the bolens tiller ext.

I'm going to stop here. Now why in the world would you think of starting a thread about what we have to do on our projects yet!

Gee thanks alot :ah_shoot:

Forget the next 2 years more like 3. :D

we are at a stand still here on projects until the weather warms up, as i dont really care to heat the shop this yr. When i do get it going again, ill be finishing up the monster two wheeler, and doing up a bunch of seeders, wheel hoes and other cool toys i have been storing up for that kind of run.

Have to go though the finished stuff and decide what items to put together for the two shows i plan to go to this yr. Once i get them arranged in the enclosed trailer, its only a matter of hooking up and we''re off to where ever i think we need to go.

I'm not falling for this one. I already have cabin fever, no sense in worsening it.

I am afraid to list all my projects because it may cause this site to "crash" from overload!

Ain't it the truth. If I list all the project I have to do. Just making the list wears me out, then I need a nap :rolling:

I only list what I want to do in a single day, so that, at least I have a minor sense of accomplishment.

NOW:   Finish my Blast cabinet with Soda blast conversion.

Order Crankshaft for the Big IR compressor.

Back to the honey hole for 1 more attempt to buy the WH C160

It's winter and I've had company for the last 10 days so i haven't been able to do much lately. I don't have a heated work space so can't do too much right now.I have a lot of stuff to get finished this summer.

1 jd317 restoration

2 finish MF 8 restoration

3 How did that Onan generator get in my garage- fix that and resell

4 Snow blower I bought to fix and re sell last summer and never got to.

5 Restore / repair a Sears cement mixer that was my fathers and is now mine

6 Resist buying more stuff

7 Heated workspace

This doesn't include the stuff I need to get done around the house.

Edit- Woops, I forgot about 8. JD49 snow thrower restore. Bought it in December but it needs work.

Bought another pedal tractor last night:

I plan to make an "Industrial" out of it.

After that it will probably be time for outdoor projects!  ~~  Lowell

I too try to only think about short term goals. I balance out what I need to do this week with what I got done last week.

I have an almost endless supply of projects to pick from to put on the list.
