Cute pups!  And some people think I'm crazy when I say I love "puppy breath"!  So I'm not alone!

My wife is exactly the same way. Loves the smell of puppy breath. :say_what:

My last couple of Walker Hound litters numbered between 12 and 14. Talk about playing "musical teats".

Back in the day when we raised German Shorthaired Pointers we had a litter of sixteen. The mom was an experienced girl and after the first couple of days moved eight of them to the far end of the whelping pen and fed each pile of babies in turn! I had never seen that before, but she never made a mistake and fed them out of turn that I saw. Yes, we started supplimenting them as soon as we could and the whole bunch turned out fine. We retired her after that batch and she lived out her days as a couch potato except during hunting season when she turned back into a bird-getting machine--- just loved hunting Hungarian partridge.

Have you any pics you can post? Not many deer hounds out there, I think they are the most under appreciated of the hounds. T he one in the movie "Out of Africa" was a beauty.
