I have a 1973 John Deere 70 for sale. I have rebuilt the engine. It was bored .010 over and a lot of new parts in engine. Also has new John Deere seat and Interstate battery. Machine is ready for work or play. Mower is good paint is original . Missing one front hub cap. Asking $650.00. have most of that in machine work in motor and parts. Also DSC02449.JPG DSC02449.JPG DSC02449.JPG DSC02451.JPG This one needs a home.

Wish she were more in my price range...  I've been looking for a '73 70 for a while... To match the 110 and 140.

It is all supply and demand.  110s are very common, where-as 70s really arent and are more of a collector's piece.
