That doesn't sound as bad as the sound from beneath my deck. I'm pretty sure I lost a cogged pulley, alright now what do I do? Thanks

Thanks a bunch, that's really pretty cool, but I really think I'm going to pay through the nose for new pulleys or have them made. They lasted close to 40 years, so I think the design is great. I love my rear discharge, wish they were all that way!!!

Okay, Great news, my two parts decks had new pulleys and belts, but the weird thing is both left side pulleys the bolts were loose enough to come out by hand. I know the bolt was way to short, I doubt it could have gotten more than three threads, it ruined the end of the bolt, but the hole is fine. I'm really not sure, and the manual illustration is pretty poor, what is under the pulley, and in what order. I know the left side has a taller spacer since it goes to the top pulley in the center, but there is a "bushing" with a lip and a thin ring under the spacer, just want to put it back right. Thanks, Bill
