I agree.  I look at that photograph and see a wonderful glimpse of America.  The young men leaving, for war most likely, and the women they are leaving behind.  It's a great photograph.

A low income transportation program allows people to ride free if they are on the outside of the train. Several kinks have been worked out but other problems have surfaced. After 21/2 hours of loading ..................

(Girls on right)  The Lee Sisters, Aura and Anna give their twin boyfriends Owie and Howie Pullen fond goodbye kisses as The Cannonball pulls out of Hooterville bound for Harper Valley.  Sadly, the boys would never be seen again after the "J.C. Reilly PTA Affair" news went nationwide.
