Can someone refresh my memory, on the "Freewheeling" valve on these?

I know we have to push it, so it'd be nice if the wheels turned. :D

Little offset T handle on the front of the tranny, RHS if I remember correctly. It is a point up /point down thing, can't remember it it's short end down or long end down to freewheel. My knee jerk is its long end down to freewheel. Good luck today. BTW, how'd you sleep :D

There's just something not right about this question from the owner of so many MF tractors!

Hey Will, the "T" is up and on the LEFT side of the transmission referencing the driver's seat.  I can't remember long end up or down, but the tractor doesn't roll easily, turn it 180 degrees.  And from what I've been able to tell, it should be straight up and down, not horizontal.

Just like "Uncle Leo" from Seinfeld.----I'm an old man, I get confused. :D

Thanks. Yes, on the left side, and long end of the Tee facing down, gives you freewheel.

Ok, it was worth the 3/4 hour drive.

I had it unloaded, by 1pm, and engine running by 3pm.

I'll dig in to it more tomorrow.

Someone removed the solenoid, and switch for the electric lift. Bummer.

I had to replace the 15amp AGC fuse, to get it to roll over.

But it wasn't cranking fast enough, so I put the 50amp kick

starter on it. New spark plug. Fresh gas.

Varoooom. :dancingbanana:  :dancingbanana:

After that, it starts just fine, without the 50amp boost.

I guess everything was tight.

Doesn't smoke.(oil I'll change tomorrow)

I did set the carb to start up settings-1 3/4 on the hi, and 1 1/4 on the low.

Haven't touched the carb other than that.

Bummer, any pics of the OEM so we know what to watch for?

Very good news, glad you were able to strike the deal

Does the lift look to be intact?
