It's Home! The 300 Came Home Today.

A few weeks ago this 300 and a 318 came into my brothers scrapyard and he saved them for me. I brought the 318 home a month ago and today I brought home the 300 and it has an excellent deck.. It RUNS! The PO bought it new. Because of old age and health he is moving north to be near his children and brought this in to scrap. Go figure.

 

Also last Friday I picked up this LX279 that experienced a 'hot start". You have to keep the debris from getting packed around the muffler.

300 and 316k are sweet pieces of Deere history. Almost as cool as a 120 or 312. 😜
