Thanks to member "Cvans" my sickle bar mower arrived at a local truck stop about 15 miles from the house today. It is a 7-1311 Wheel Horse 50" mower and it looks great. I made a deal with Chris a couple weeks ago and his son dispatches in the trucking business. He was able to get on a load headed to the border. It sure was nice of Chris and his Son to put this together for me.

Thanks a Million guys.

the mower deck mule drive that Chris sent is on it's way back to him, it didn't go with this mower.

Doug, it was sold in the mid 60's for the long frame tractors (1257, Raider12,Electro12) to name a few. The C-Series is a long frame, so it will work on all C-Series, you will have to take off the Mid Mount Quick-attach if you have one on yours. The quick-attach didn't come along until the early 70's

Interesting.  It's certainly different from the Haban Sickle-Mo for those tractors.

Member Farmer John asked me for some more better photos of my SB mower, so here they are.

This is the part of the frame that I said yours had a lot added to it.

These  show the 2 pulleys that tirn the drive belt 90 Degrees yo the Mule Drive.

The next 3 shows the Mule Drive and how it attaches to the front of the mower frame. Also show the basic routing of the drive belt, they should be behind the 2 pulleys and the engagement pedal.

A couple of over views.

John, if you need anything else, let me know.

Hey Chris, I think I might have to mount this thing up and try it out. I've mowed the lawn twice already since the 1st of April.

Nice to hear that things aren't burning up. We still have snow on the ground BUT it is suppose to be in the 60's and 70's starting tomorrow. Don't forget to post some photos when you get it mounted.
