:help:

Who and where is the best source of engine rebuild parts for HH100 and HH120 engines that ship to Toronto Ontario Canada?

Piston, Rings, Rod, Valves, Gasket sets.

Also SSI Ignition modules, any source around?

I have an SSI ignition module from the HH100 that was in the parts tractor I had bought. I don't know if it works or not though. Only other places I know of are ebay and there was one other retailer I seen online somewhere that had piston kits.

Thanks George I have 1 spare HH100 and 3 spare HH120s that I want to rebuild over the winter, looking for a parts source so I can make a single order for everything I need + spare carb kits and 1 rod.
ps fix the title of this thread I can't spell today.

I fixed the title for ya. I don't know what your best bet would be with that many engines to do. If I can remember the site that had the piston and ring kits that might help. I thought there was a site too that had the oversized pistons too.

That looks like a good source, going to try them next week, I saw them before on another forum recently.
Thanks Mike

Anybody else know of another source?

i know there was a NOS HH100 on ebay for like 700 listed multiple times. might want to check that out too. It may be just as much to make him an offer and then not have to worry about any one elses machine work

i do know the hh100 in my grandpas sounds loose (only 43 years of wear) so i should get those parts before they are gone for good. so if you find a better source let me know thanks.

The link you posted says they have rods different sizes, pistons, rings, gasket sets, carb kits, even a rebuild kit, but I don't see any valves there.

From what I've seen of these engines the weak spot seems to be the rod, in terms of being noisy, and if it breaks???

partstree.com had the valves I think. But they were around $150 so Ill see what I can do with the old ones LOL

It seems all these small engines have weak rods. Most cases by the time we get them theyve been through the ownership of the cousin/son/rummage sale and who knows what kind of maintenance or if they even had oil in them all the time. Like I said the motor is 43 years old of cutting grass and blowing snow and is just starting to sound loose.

That looks like good info, they have piston kits also.
Banta Saw - Internal Engine Parts - Tecumseh Engine Repair Parts - Piston Assemblies(Piston, Rings, Wrist Pin/Keeper)

I've done some looking around and found that these guys have the most stuff and the best prices, however they do not ship to Canada.
Tecumseh Engine Parts

Piston+rings (standard), wrist pin, keepers. $27.95
Rods, standard and undersized from $28.95
Gasket sets. $19.95
Carb. kits. $7.95

All you need to rebuild a HH120 without valves. $84.80 + shopping.
