After Sam left (see my other post) I fired up the EK7 to do a bit of snow removal.  Rascal fired right up, and I was off.  Unfortunately, 6-8" of wet HEAVY snow was just a bit more than that little rascal could handle.  It tried hard, but it was just one plug after another.  I guess it didn't help that the chute is a bit rusty, which no doubt hindered the flow.  I think that an EK10 might have handled it, but the EK7 had to cry "No mas, no mas".

Undeterred, I fell back to plan B...one of the G11s with a snowcaster.  Now we were talking :D :D :D   This particular G11 is the one with the 1050 trans/rear end, and it's a good thing, as even with weights and chains I needed to lock the diff, something that a stock G11 can't do.

With the belt in HI and the trans in Low, it did a great job, with one exception.  The drive belt is a bit stretched, and managed to jump off about three times.  It's definitely time to replace it.  I guess while I'm at it, I'll probably just change the belts in all 3 of the G11s and the G10, since they are all the same size.  Anyway that's something for a warmer day.

Got any pics of the end product......or......of the machines you put into action today? I've not thrown a belt this year but I have busted one. I feel your pain. :(

Yeah, I guess I should post a pic of two :D :D :D

The EK7, last night while it was still snowing and this morning after I finished.

The "Franken G11" next to the HDT1000, and Plan C (the HT20D with plow) if it would have been needed.

Better look of the Hang-N-Haul on the HDT, good look at the track of the ANCLA tires.

I went all the way up the block, since I don't have that much frontage, and a long shot of all tracks I made in the side yard.

Looks like you had some fun out there :D

Just a word of advice, if you have to keep them outside, I'd throw some sort of cover over those seats/ engines. Especially that EK7 with that nice original seat...... Water and sun really do a number on them
