This idea has been around for quite a while for other uses and other types of batteries than the standard golf car type . This has pluses and minuses . Most of the engineering for sizing means that the original shape and styling has to be changed to do parralel .
I have been using sealed batteries for 5 + years with good success . Take-out batts mostly . Now it is time to try new batts in a properly configured setup . 35 amp hr batts from Ups power supplies seem to be a viable way to go . 24 volt packs parreled have lasted for 10 years in 2200 watt ups situations.
My concern is proper size fusing ( breakers ) individually and collectively for an ET . The design for the original E-T s was well thought out. The main thing now is the fitting . Just a few thoughts until later.
