Looks like a good restore job. Is it worth $400?

If it is a 63 it has the wrong hood, paint job, and decals. The 63 600 was painted all in gold.

That looks like the 1964 colors and decals

That would be an alright deal. If I would get it the first thing is flip the seat spring bracket around the right way and get different decals for the hood and put them on straight. Yeah I'm picking it apart, but why not try get the seller to come down a bit. Cheaper is better

Didn't the 63s have the hitch cast in the rear housing?

Ad indicates "original wisconsin engine".  Shouldn't the motor be a Briggs?

Looks like a Briggs air cleaner.

Makes me curious when someone "restores" a garden tractor but doesn't seem to know the type of motor.

I think it is a briggs. The right side looks like my 650 does. Maybe was a misprint.

Looks like a good deal to me even if it isn't what he says it is. The present owner may not be the one who restored it. If it runs and drives as good as it looks then you could always repaint /decal to the correct configuration. All the hard work has been done!

Yep!  mower deck is a good option, as well as is the snow blade.  It is well worth the asking price.

Its not a 63 the color is wrong, should be gold and the throttle cable on the steering column is facing the driver on a 63. I think this is the same one I almost bought last fall but I couldn't drive down to pick it up at that time...Good price ...I think? I am not interested anymore...bought another Panzer instead.
