i need an original, or reproduction, bell style muffler for my 1947 AKS....part number is WD-17-B

Thanks, maybe that will help someone determine if they have what you're looking for or not.

I thought maybe Dad had one... But his is for the bigger 2 cyl. And noticeably different.

Sounds silly, but could the muffler be build using a camping gas cartridge?

not a bad idea...i dont know if its posibble, but i am looking to do a restoration to as original as possible. thanks for the idea.

Yes jerome he got a new one from me. I did not have time to get a pic of it but it looks just like the one in the pic above.
