So a few posts ago everyone remembers the sears im getting. Today I got an email back from the seller so heres the numbers. "The tractor serial # is 917.25070. The manuals are copies only ---Custom 10XL Tractor Owners Manual. Owners manual for Craftsman engines 143-629022 and Rotary Mower 38in for custom tractors 917.252031. Each manual has the detailed parts lists, are in very good condition but are copies only" So i looked on the sears custom website and the closest thing to it is a 1972 10xl. So at best im leaving it as a sears custom 10xk even though it doesnt sat custom on the side. Any info/input would be appreciated. Thanks everyone-Mike

917.25070......You have a 1972 Sears Custom 10E.  I have a complete list of the Sears Serial numbers in the manuals section.  Hopefully this will help you.  Can't wait for pics!!
