Well I found a set of rear wheel weights for the Bolens have to call the guy later to arrange shipping. Been looking for a set for awhile glad i found them. they are red ? Brian I see you painted yours white what color is original? or did they do both?
Pretty bad there not even here and i want to paint them:bounce:

There were white and Red weights.

I would love to find a set of weights, Bolens and Massey weights. I just have a hard time justifying spending $100+ for two weights but I guess if you want the real stuff money talks LOL

I have not seen yellow ones,what models or years were they on,and were they actually Bolens weights ?

yea I didn't want to spend the $ either but i really wanted them cost me 150.00 with shipping

I have had several setsof the yellow ones over the years.They where probly from the same time frame as the yellow blowers and plows were made.I think i still have some of the yellow ones somewhere and will post a pic.They were the same as the red and white ones.

WOW I guess you learn something new everyday LOL
never seen a pair in my life.
They were never featured in any of the Brochures I seen either.
They were always pictured with the yellow blower and white weights then in the early 70's red blowers and weights came along.
Could the yellow's have come in the late 70's:confuse:

Well i got my wheel weights today.:smile1: Painted them red and got them put on I will post some pics tomorrow. I also painted the letters white its not original but i think it looks pretty good.
