I spotted this today, I looked at another tractor the guy had listed at the same place, its complete but its been sitting a long time.

Its the first garden tractor I've seen with a rear PTO and wet lines out front.

He said the wheel weights don't go with it, unless someone were to trade him the Jacobsen weights for something similar for Wheel Horse or Cub Cadet. He said he really needs 50lb weights with an open center.

I wish it were closer. That is the same as the LGT 165 I have. I hope someone on here grabs it!

The 'big' deck for those was a 50", I think. I wonder how bad the wiring is on it?

I'd love to have the 'auxiliary' hydraulics from it.

I have the Ford version of that. A real workhorse in my stable.

Looks like it woud clean up nice and the PTO and hydraulics alone would be pretty much worth the price.

The deck was standing up behind it when I was there, its as tall as I am and I'm 6'1" tall.

I didn't look at it close enough to say anything about the wiring. I was thinking of grabbing it just for the Kohler, even if it needs an overhaul the motor has got to be worth that as a rebuildable unit.

I don't see many K341 motors for sale.

If it ran, you would soon find out that is a tough tractor. Those have great pulling power, especially with the limited slip rears they have in them.

I went there this afternoon and the motor was gone from the Jacobsen, and two other machines, a guy was there removing all the Kohler single cylinders. The guy who bought them told me he paid $400 for the 16hp, after getting it running and making sure all was OK, he gave $250 for a running 14hp, and he gave $100 for a 10HP missing some parts off a JD 112.
I see the ad is down now too from CL. The seller said he'll just part the rest of the thing out if no one is interested in the whole machine minus the motor.
All that's left is the deck and rolling chassis. The guy that was taking the motor said it was a shame to part that thing out since everything worked so well but he had driven there in a small pickup and only had room for one tractor, so he bought all the rest of the motors and one tractor. The tractor was an older JD. Maybe it was someone here?

I think I passed the Jacobsen on a trailer on my way home from work, I was headed that way to talk about another tractor he has there when I saw it leaving. The ad is gone too.

Someone bought the tractor, even without the motor I guess.
