Sorry bout that Will.

I'm not sure why I listened to the voice in my head that said, "Don't do it."

I know she thinks I'm crazy. Couldn't really have done any harm. :D

Did you read the rules? It says no farm tractors. :smilewink:

I used to pull with my '75 1614 PK, a few times there was a gravely there; the gravely never did well... but in all fairness the driver had no idea what he was doing. A better driver and I think it would have done 100x better. I don't know what model it was, but it was one of the orange ones.

Then its on to the Gilson!  But hey, my A's are small enough, and the previous owner of my 1945 used it for mowing the yard, so just maybe it will count?

You are right on, Ryan, a lot of pulling depends on the driver.  I've never done garden tractor pulling, though.

Ben, I have been there, done that, and bought the T-shirt!  Read this thread for how bad it can get.

And, no, I don't ever want to push a Gravely again, but as long as I have them, there will probably be times when I think it's easier to just push rather than start.

I read your thread Howard, and good grief! Those who replied back then were right that it was a memory maker.

I've heard the stories about distributor/coil type machinery drying up the battery in a hurry, but it hasn't happened to me... yet.  I will let your story make me cautious!

Ben W.
