Thanks for all the welcomes. I think the only paint thats not original is on the wheels. It's a little bigger than what I wanted. But hey! It's a lot smaller than my WD-45. And thats what I wanted. Something I could trailer around on a small trailer. Plus, I think building a loader will be fun. It took about two years to find somthing I wanted and in my price range. The Ol'lady says I'm a cheap b-----d. Maybe thats why it took so long. Anyway, In my search, I came across this Custom. I couldn't pass that up. I paid sixty dollars for it. Runs great, and I'm impressed with how it pulls. Things wrong with it, are, the brake band is broke and the front wheels are a little wobbly.

Nice looking John Deere A George! What year is it, 1947-48? Good score on the new toy. Just wish you could have moved that red tractor out of the way before you took the picture, so that we could have seen the entire tractor. :smilewink:

Oh, Welcome to the site, and hope your enjoy! We have a lot of Great guys here, who are full of knowledge, so if you get in a jam, just ask away, and someone will be along to help you out!
