There is a guy that has 2 Bolens for sale close to me. He doesn't know what model they are and I don't know that much about Bolens yet?

The first one details, This is a FMC Bolens Husky garden tractor with a Wisconsin engine on it. The engine is not locked up and it seems to have a little compression.

The second one's details, This is a Bolens garden tractor with a 12 hp Briggs engine on it.  The engine will not turn over.  I do not know if it is the engine that is locked or if it its the starter generator locked up or the transmission is locked up.  This tractor has a hydrostatic transmission and hydraulic lift.

Any info would be great !

The first on is a 1250-03 or 02  and the last one is a 1250-03 or 02.

The B & S is not right for the last one.

There not worth much in that shape 1250s are at the low end of the price range of large frames.

I thought the 1256/1257 had 5 bolt hubs?

He is at 250.00 for the pair right now. They are only 15 minutes away and that doesn't happen out here very often in TX..

The 1256 (see pic) is a tube frame, those are large frames.

Did you get them yet? I have 30 plus tractors and my 1250 is my favorite. The price is good, is there any attachments?

The first one one appears to be a 1476 or 1477, [ used 14 hp wisconsin single lung] the second as everyone else said is a 1250, and weren't a very good tractor, the 12hp just wasn't enough for a large frame.

I'm curious why you dont like the 1250? I love mine. I have 2 - 1250s and an HT23. Is it just under powered or is there something else?
