I love to cruise GTTalk  ! I usually spend about 2-3 hrs on here every day! My wife doesn't even ask me what I'm looking at on here anymore! Anyway, I missed a day and only had about 10 min. the next day :wallbanging: !  I have not yet figured out how to go about catching up on things. I have stacks of email notifications and there are hundreds of comments and topics to read! Oh, and don't forget all the pictures to look at!  :worship:

I want to thank all of the members and especially the supporters and staff for making this into such an addicting place to pour a cup of my favorite beverage and stay a spell! :thank_you:

I will have to suck it up and spend a ton of time catching up! It may start tonight, but I am not sure. We are going to pick up a new addition to the family. It is an 8 y/o German Shepard, who is the mother of our 2 year and a half old pups, Fred and Ginger. DSCN0900.JPG

Ginger is the black one and their mother looks almost the exact same.

So, it is a BIG problem and I will enjoy spending a large portion of my Sunday reading and looking at pictures on GTTalk!!

It can be a problem getting caught up with all that happens on here every day. I probably add to the issue as I feel the need to comment on lots of threads.

We're glad that we've provided something for you to do in your "spare" time LOL. I feel your pain though. Sometimes you've just got to hunker down and dive in head first!

That's a good problem to have. Glad you like it here. Nice dogs. My brother has 2 as well. His new baby Joey is an 8 month old male that is mostly black like Ginger.

Yea I know what you mean.  Take a day or two away and it take quite a long time to catch back up.  But then it beats FB and I think a whole lot more fun.

We have a black shepard, she is about 8 or 9 now.  Not long after we moved in my wife came home one day and said she saw a black fox.  I was doubtful and then a day or so later she said she saw it again.  Well a few days after that she came in and said she saw it out around our garbage can's .  I went out there and found this small frail black Shepard puppy that could just barely stand.  I told the wife to go get a bowl of food and we took it to the back porch where it ate it's first good meal in quite a while, then the wife pulled off 20 + ticks and we gave her a flea bath.  Needless to say she has been a part of our family ever since.

Geno you have some really nice looking dogs there. I hope your new one fits in well.

Thanks for the heart warming story Bill. Many years ago we acquired a young German Shepard from the pound. Our Kids were young at the time and from the day we brought Sadie home we never had to worry about the kids again. She was a fantastic guardian of the whole family and became a welcome member.

We once stayed in a hotel in Sioux Falls. About mid-night a party developed in the hall and sleeping was impossible. I told my wife it was time to take Sadie for a walk. When I stepped into the hall with her you could have heard a pin drop Everyone backed away and let me walk through. I took Sadie outside for a few minutes and when I came be everyone was gone. We slept real good for the rest of the night. This was just one of the many ways she repaid us. A good Shepard is hard to beat.

Dad had a shepherd, Baron, when we lived in the city as young kids. He never had to worry about us kids playing outside as long as the dog was with us.
One of the smartest, best behaved dogs we have had the pleasure of sharing our lives with since we have been married was a white shepherd that we named Mollie. Same thing, I did not have to worry about the family when the dog was around.
