Not sure what you are looking for here. I have a sample from an Eaton 11.

Are you looking for what the Letters translate to?

Yes some what ... how ever i think the 10 series number system is Different as i crawled under my h14 and the numbers start with 15 and i will tell you its not a model 15 as i don't think that was ever made ... and how does that number system work .. Date code a10a ? What the heck does the A for year translate to .....

That's why I was asking. I haven't found anything on the Eaton 10. I haven't a clue how they read that code. Guess it's time to go to their page and ask them.

So here we have some more numbers

The first one is a (i think Eaton 11 out of my 1256 when i pulled the hydro the 12 point bolts were slightly Rounded and when i took the drive shaft out there was a second set screw mark .. leading me to believe that its been out before Also the case drain is a #10 orb fitting thats been reduced with some fittings )

The second one is a ? 10 ???? !! but it does not start with 10 like i expected it starts with 15.. my other eaton 10 in my h14xl says 10 at the beginning

What are you trying to do ? All those  look like an Eaton 11 . they have almost 100 different versions of it . This is why they are numbered . If you read the pdf's from Eaton on these they have a code sequence . There are sooo many different versions it boggles the mind .

When i got my 1256 and H14 i planed to Upgrade the hydro's to Eaton 11's i think your Diesel ford is a 11 .. ? right the eaton 10 and 11's are Nearly Identical How ever i think the Beefed up internal parts to take higher power Also they run cooler and more efficient And they drive Way smother then the 10 but any Eaton 11 i have had are CCW rotating All the tube frames run Cw What I Am looking for is the Year decoder for the Model 10 Trans the decoder for the 11 is different ..

I believe the only difference is that the 10's dod not have any cushion valving  on the stator like the newer 11's . Other than that I think they can be swapped around . You can reverse the rotation on the 11's if you follow the procedure to the letter in the service manual from Eaton . Only thing you might need to do is use your charge pump from the cw 10 ? Not positive on this though , you need to do more homework . Read the Eaton repair manual and know it like your hand ! Then go for it !

I plan to do that to my h14 come summer time (when i have my Diesel done and at home) as it uses the rear end as the resivor for the fluid unlike the 1256 what has a external tank and a case drain-vent thing on the top but i still think that my 1256 has a eaton 11 as it sounds Alot quieter and smother then the 10 in my h14 so i am thinking that its just the charge pump and i have driven a 11 Backwards (cw) instead of ccw it did drive but once is ran out of fluid from the charge pump it stopped ran it ccw for a bit (in neutral )till it filled back up and works again is cw till it runs out of fluid Are you talking about Pg 16-17-18? in the manual All it mentions is Port plate .. and the different Charge pumps used .. SO i think (come summer that i might swap the charge pump off my 10 put it on the 11 and slap some new seals in the son of a gun then back in the tractor .. or i might just leave it Ahh we will see in the summer ... i just wish there was more literature....
