Thanks Doc., Mine has the same clutch pedal as the one in this thread. Grands 600 is just like the one in the parts manual you found for me with the different clutch pedal setup then My M/W and this one in this thread.

So I guess I need to find the parts manual for a model 180-02/181-02.

I'm pretty sure I have the manuals for all production runs of the 600... May be a day or so before I can get it uploaded for you...

So Wilberj, our tractors were made only 1137 tractors apart from each other way back in 1962, same year I was born! Wahoooo!

Is the 180-01/181-01 a later model the in the one here in the photos. The parts manual I just downloaded shows a different clutch pedal setup. The one in these photos here are just like my clutch setup.

Hammerhead, Can you post a close up photo of the PTO decal? It looks a lot like mine also, what's left of it.

Here it is Texas Deere and Horse! KJ021-3_zpsc237c85c.jpg022-1_zpsa1f6088d.jpg

nice 600 your granson has i bet hes a happy camper.. i see you have some nice wheel horse's i also have a RJ58 but any ways...... i have to save all my money from bailing hay for $5.00 an hour then i bought the best 1050 i ever seen with a blower for $425.00 thats alot for a tube frame but it only blew snow a couple times and it was stored in a climent controled garage for 34 years until i bought it the old man passed away and a friend of mine got it after the wife wanted the place cleaned out then i bought it from him, my uncle gave a 1254 but i sold it, my gran father had a 67 bolens 850 an i use to ride with him every week intil i was old enough to run it and now i have the bolens bug as they say i have a 1000 i want to restore its really a junker but i try to save them is i can.. im going to mount my jonson 10 loader on it and power steering im hopeing to find good throtttle and choke cables i have N.O.S leavers and grips where the cables hooks on to but that another project i still have to finish the 850 then the 650 and 750
