1962 Cub Cadet Original

Here is my 1962 Cub Cadet Original. This is a nice Cubby with the nice IH head lights and the round fenders. This was made in the same year as I was, 1962 a very good year, lol!

Nice looking 'O' you have there. Are you still mowing? That is pretty green grass!

My father-in-law (who lives outside Sunbury!) has an original Cub. It needs a resto but is complete. Got any pics of the rest of your collection?

Very NICE Original.

I think these are some of the neatest Cub Cadet tractors for several reasons. I like them because they were the first Cubs, and, there's something special about the way they use a belt-driven system to the driveshaft. Sure, they're probably not as sturdy as a direct driven, clutch assembly, but they're still cool and quite strong. We pull ours on occasion and it does pretty good.
