A friend of mine works at a scrap yard and called me a while ago about a old Wheel Horse that somebody scrapped out! It has the mower deck and a nice WH snow thrower. He wanted $100 for the tractor and $50 for the snow thrower, uhhh I'll be right over to get it! Hard to believe it was a 500 Special! I mounted the snow thrower on my 1965 Wheel Horse Model 875 Wheel A matic! Very good deal on this pile! Hammerhead

That's a great deal on a great pair of goodies! I haven't been to the local scrap yard for a while, but there are 4 of them and only one of them will sell anything! I have seen GT's at the other three places and it makes me cringe that I can't take them all home. The one yard actually has a sign that say's "Nothing here is for sale. Don't ask!" It's depressing!

It's time that I start cozying up to a salvage man.  What's the trick?  Take him out for steak?
