Well, me and the old man went out and took a closer look at the HT20D the old man wants to get. I snapped some better pics of it too, I also took a few pics of another Bolens that comes with the HT20D. The other tractor has no hood but I've never seen another one like it The model# is 1666. Does anyone know anything about these it also has a 16hp Onan twin.

A thousand bucks takes the pair.

The HT20D is a runner but has some electrical issues and just needs to be put back together, the other one has a busted rod.

I do know the HT20D is a rare one.

I don't know anything about the 1666 but it looks like it may be good for parts, the framing isn't too impressive on it and the sheet metal makes it look like it is from a newer era. I would snatch that h20d up in a heartbeat.

I found out the red one is a QT16 and it is actually a very heavy built tractor, a lot of the same parts as a large frame Bolens

Wow, that surprised me. The shot of the rear on the QT16 makes the c-channel frame look it isn't as strong, after you posted that I looked at the pics from the side a little better and you are right it does look like it is a heavy built tractor.
