As you may heard, Im finishing up a 1050 restoration. Somewhere on the internet I heard the Maple Hunter decals wernt quite correct as compaired to Sam's. I thought it was about the font used in the letter "O". Im trying to be as correct as possable, but Sam's decals are about twice the price of Maple Hunter? Before I decide can anybody give me any pro's and con's on either brand? Are they both complete kits?

I've never Bought from Maple hunter myself, but I have heard mixed opinions on his decals. Someone once posted a comparison with the original decals to maple hunter's version and they were not 100% alike.
If you want the best decals out there Sam's is the place to go. I bought my 800 decal set from him and they look just like the originals. And are printed on 3M material.
The price may be steeper than anyone else out there but they are just like the factory specs

Im anxious to finish this restoration and I want it right, so I went with Sam's decals. Sometimes you have to spend the extra money to get it right.

You will not regret buying Sam's decals.

Make sure you take pics and measurements of your 1253's decals. Sam will need the measurements and pics so he can get them correct.
As of now he does not have a made up set for the 1253(not listed on his page). Thats why you will need to measure the old ones.
