Thought I'd post a picture of my big tractor. I resurrected this old Case in 2005. I broke the tractor down and put in all new seals, bearings as needed, and made new side shields as the originals were long gone. I did all the work myself including paint. The MRS. did help "power" the bead roller as I guided the new orchard tin through. Those panels are big enough it was a two man job. :smile1:

That looks great! It's not very often you see a VAO that has any of the special tin left, let alone ALL of it! You did a great job! Thanks for posting the pic. More please!

You did a very nice job on restoring that orchard Case! If you have some more pictures please post some. She sure is a beauty.

Thanks for the kind words fellas!! I'll have more pics soon - the wife has to do it because I'm not smart enough!! lol
There were only 1547 VAOs made in 1948 and most had regular clam shell, ag style fenders. The extra tinwork was an option few wanted to pay for or have to deal with. They really make the tractor hard to mount and even harder to see where you are going!!
