OH, NO!  Another "green" wanna - be has been made!   Too many people think Tractors are green and yellow and it must please them to see them all that way???

I'm fixing up an old 1977 Economy (1614) Jim Dandy I bought.  I took the breather off and went to the hardware store to try and match the Economy color.  I found the Rust-Oleum GLS Lobster Red is dead nuts on.  I was amazed at the color match. With a small tractor using the spray cans is much easier.  The full part # is 250704 GLS Lobster Red.   Good luck with your painting.

Is lobster red only available in Maine? Is there a limit on how many cans you can buy? Do the cans have to be a certain size ?(lobstah humah)

I have no idea if the Rust-Oleum Lobster Red is available only in New England.  I would doubt it.  With the information I provided from the can you should be able to at least order it from any Hdw store that carries Rust-Oleum.  I just know it looks exactly like the paint on the tractor except it's clean and new !  Also covers well although I primered some bad spots. You guys are the experts so if I can help in a small way at least I can TRY to repay you for all the help and support I've gotten since buying the old tractor.  You guys are the best !!

Guilty as charged. But anyway I did a google search and saw a Jeep and a Kubota painted Lobster Red and I have to say I'm impressed with the color. I think you're on to something jacottrill.

Lobster Red is what I used when I repainted my 52' Power King.

Went to Ace in IN that has Rustoleum paints and NO Lobster Red. They looked on line and found none for them to order. Do any of the big national lumber yards carry that brand?  There is another brand store in town to check, but they like Valspar there and not much in Rusty-o that I'm aware.
