I am looking for a 1970s Troy Bilt Horse Hiller/ Furrower. I really only need the bracket but would take the whole furrower and wings.

Thank you

that would be fairly simple to build if you have a welder.  I can see it being done with a drill and bolts as well.  That seems how it is built in the pic.  Haven't seen one for sale.

Yeah, I have schematics that someone wrote out with all the measurements. I was worried about the angles (not getting them right). I bought a furrower blade from a tractor supply but does not have wings. So im trying to save money to do the same job. Do you have any suggestions on how to get the angles? Thanks

Years ago I had a Gilson Rear Tine and the hiller for it was just a furrower shovel W/O Wings. It worked very well, so I don't know that one needs wings? At that time I was growing 1,000 hills of potatoes per year and would not have even attempted it without the hiller.

Cool. I was also wanting the wings to make raised beds. Do you think yours threw up the soil enough to do that with just the furrower?

It depends on how big you need to raise the beds?  12 " is not bad to do with a tiller and rake. Been doing that the last two years.  I made the mraised about 12" and 1 ft across the top to plant multiple rows, close enough together there was little weeding.

I'm planning to get hiller discs to mount on a toolbar and mont it on my tractor. If I don't get to that this year, I guess I'll do it with the blade on the 3 point.

YEs thats it! Does it measure approximately about 10" from the top tips and in the middle about 7"to tip of furrower? If it does how much are you asking for it? Thank you

If ya can't find one, let me know. I will take mine apart and make you a cardboard pattern of the arms and mail to ya so you get it right.

This one has only been used once or twice. I don't have the wings, but shoot me an offer for it.

It will fit either a Horse or a Pony tiller.
