Well today was just a fun Sunday. Re- mounted the plow, actually it was swapped from the 222 to the 448 after a minor re- paint.

Fixed up a ripped apart tire chain, as I lost a few runners a while back. Nothing a vise, a hammer and a torch couldn't fix. Put in a couple new runners from a parts chain, all is good.

Swapped out the transaxle oil, just so I don't end up like Jayvee, sorry bud .

Then out to the driveway, to fully plow the rest of things , really just an excuse for seat time and make sure the tire chains were on good and tight. I forgot how much of a " non" event it is plowing with these machines. The 448 has loaded tires and chains, and stopped for nothing at all.

The kids wanted a little fun time, so I stopped working and tied a sled to the back and dragged them around the back 4, and they were smiling ear to ear. One of our guests had never driven a  tractor before, so I showed her the ropes and off she went, biggest grin I saw of the night.

Little M parked the 448 dutifully out on the driveway, lined up to the fence ready for tonights further 3" of snow.

Yeah, really not bad at all, especially if the sun is out. This morning I awoke to temps in the low teens, and it seems funny that feels " warm" these days LOL. Looks like more seat time this morning, got another couple inches overnight, and a few more on it's way.

I thought I'd try and add some pics:

It looks like it does as nice a job pulling as plowing.  Thanks for the great photographs.

That Case looks great in the snow!  Gotta find one of the Massey versions to add to my stable.

Just talking about it makes me want a RIDE! Thanks for posting the story and pics. We are snowless here in ME and I'm feeling blue. Can I exchange some leaves for some of your snow?

That smile in the 3rd picture says it all..

Yeah, that was her passing by me, proud as a peacock pulling in nice and square next to the fence moments after, even while towing her friend on the sled.. Even put the plow down to the ground before shutting the 448 down, I wish I could say I do that everytime myself LOL ....
