My wife gives me an allowance every week for house cleaning and dish washing so I don't rob the bank. So what I do is maybe spend 1/2 of it and then use debit card for what ever I need . So that way I get stick back to sslip things in garage and she doesn't notice . :rolling:

very cool....I just used one yesterday to jump my jeep I haven't started in 2 months.  It was a Snap-on, I've always used cables before, never used a box.  I'm a fan.

OK, time to do a little update.
I received this on Wednesday of this week. Did the "As per manual" charge and then recharge.

Impressed with the flexibility of the cable. Some of them are stiff and unmanageable, these aren't.

Tried it out on the van (disconnected the battery) and it does a good job... Not a Diehard, but it started the V6. For the price I have in it, and the fact I was paying with older gift cards, hard to complain.

The headboard is almost identical to the layout on my old one. Simple and straightforward.

Now for the negatives...

I knew that they had discontinued the 24Ahr battery and this was the biggest they have, but I was amazed at how much smaller the battery is. Still, it seems to work.

The clamps are below average. Not happy with them and I expect to be changing them at some point.
They are thin, bendable, and the fold-form "business end" has no reinforcement between the parts... Least they could've done is solder the corners... Just screams cheap.

All in all, I would say that it's a good enough unit for the cash when they are on sale, but I think I am going to be watching at SAMs and some other places for a heavier unit for vehicles. This one will be principally for GT's and it's should be plenty big for that.

Now I can get busy trying to get the old one to start taking a charge again. I think it's may be connections or batt is low water, but didnt want to dig into it unless I had one another one first.

Well, it works !! Too bad they have to cheap out on stuff like the clamps.

Really ? what would it cost them to do it right. A buck or two more.

You'll get it dialed in.
