My wife said to me "Hey, What're these?"

Last Christmas, I got a gift card for Harbor Freight.  I said I would save it for when I needed something unexpected

Last Birthday I got a gift card & said I would save it for when I needed something unexpected

My wife got me a gift card over a year ago for an Easter present.

These little cards have gotten to be a running gag over the years.  They aren't big dollar but it's the thought that counts.  Also, when I do get something... It's the right size.  These cards I had put away and forgotten all about.

Anyways, I totaled up the cards & had just enough to replace my failing Jumper pack (my old one's gotta be 7+ yrs old now... no shame there)

and one of those plastic repair irons Bill linked.

Kinda knocked the blah's off the day.  Karen had to work, KK got sick and The other 2 were home with Grumpy Bear (me).  Made the day better anyways.

Bonus!! Looks like you got a couple of needed and useful items. It's nice to be able to give yourself a little present now and then.

I'm surprised the cards were still good.  Usually they are only good for a few months so they can steal you money.  Glad it worked out ya Alan.  I hope that iron works as well for you as it has for me.

I checked balance on each card before I placed the order.  Their automated system told me all was good.

I did a little compare/contrast on the packs.

I didn't want the compressor, but after looking over the specs... well, I just decided it was a necessary evil

here; see what I mean.

Alan, it's nice to see you got some things you needed with the cards.  I have a jumper that is getting tired.  It has a compressor and I find it kind of handy.  I keep it in the back of the SUV.  It also has a 110 jack on it.  I use that from time to time as well.

Congrats on the new tools.

Awesome deal Alan. Those jump packs are handy, had to use either your's or your Dad's (cant recall) at plow day last year. That provoked me to buy one LOL. I tell you it was the best money ever spent!!
