I am just thinking.

On my MF 1650 I have mounted an Agifab-Caftsman 46 inch 2 stage snowblower on the front end. Wanting to simplifie the belt-drive for the the snowblower. I am toying with the idea to fabricate a drive shaft and the necessary brackets to the existing 3 pt. hitch and pto drive. Making the snowblower rear mounted. And placing the 250 lbs. on the rear of the tractor. The tractor already has ag tires and wheel weights .

Any thoughts? Issues not seen?

I hope you have a good back, i found the blower at the back was a pain in the "back", i moved my 3pt hitch to the front and did not use a drive belt, just got a hydrolic pump from tsc, direct power, no slippage, a good belt can cost $70-$100, same as a pump or get a used pump even better, hope this helps.
