The '64 has had a mouse house in the engine shroud since I inherited it. I did get the mice out, but I never took out the nest. I want to nominate it for features tractor this month, and rules say it must be operational. That was the push I needed to go out in the cold and get it going! Once it was cleaned a little shot of starting fluid, and it started right up after I pushed the button with only a couple of revolutions! The engine has always been a strong runner and I am glad the cold did not make it to hard to start. I took it for a nice ride, but I did not go to far since the transmission bearings make an unbearable noise!

Glad to hear you got it running. Are you going to rebuild the trans?

I am hoping to restore the tractor this summer, and I want to do a true restoration; so, the answer is yes... eventually.

I have my nomination written up, I am just waiting on a couple small details from neighbor Herby. I am also going to take some better photos in the next day or two.
