I forget what the record was. Didn't we hit 200 votes the one month?

I changed the color of the notice box so it might be standing out a little more. Maybe a one week voting session from now on for featured tractors with the large notice? I think when the voting is open longer and the notice is up there for a longer period of time is easily becomes invisible.

I am not sure if we hit 200, but I know we did get very close at least.

I did notice the box was yellow this time, and I think it does stand out more. Like you said, having the box up there all the time most likely causes people to skip over it after a while.

I voted for the Struck because i,m restoring one right now. Just like the one he has, i also got a front mounted mower with mine, i can,t believe you could get much mowing done with this thing. I,m used to a zero turn. My grandsons like it alot. steve guider.

George, I think a shorter voting time would be better. The yellow does stand out a bit more, but maybe we could change colors to draw attention to it if we stay at the same time frame.

I too think there would be a better "turn out" if the voting was only for a week vs month. Most of us are procrastinators by nature, so a call to arms is needed. :D  Thank god for online bill paying

A large banner at top of page with just "Time to vote, tractor of the month" linked to choices may work better.

Voting is currently about 2-3 weeks on average. Since the month is divided between nominations and voting.

Ryan, I guess what I was trying to say is, the process is to long. Just as this one's over the next starts or so it seems.

So after a while it's always there, blending into the page. Maybe a 6 day nomination period, day to sort it out, 3 day voting period, done , now there would be a two week time frame of nothing until nomination's open again. Nothing is easy,
