Gosh I wish I was retired. That's almost close for me considering it seems everything else is out East.

Sounds like it'll be a fun time for all that attend.Way to far for me.Too bad someone here in Manitoba doesn't have one.Of course then I'd need to have a trailer to haul the tractors.Maybe it's something to think about doing here.Larry

Here is an update on the plow day. We will be starting at 9 am untill 4 pm or so. The address of the show is W8124 Barber Lane, Arkansaw WI 54721. So far we have about 10 tractors coming and several other people who are coming to watch and or help with the BS! Therer will be some stock tractors along with some custom built tractors including Glenn's 4 wheel drive John Deere and a Custom 4 wheel drive Allis Chalmers. I'll have my Massey crawler out there also.
We will be plowing on a 40 acre soybean field that is a sandy loam soil that should plow nice and easy. There is a new motel about 4 miles away from here if anyone wants to come early and spend the night along with the campground nearby. If you want more info call Glenn at 715-495-7642 or give me a shout.

Hi Mike
Thanks for the update.
Working on 1650s hydro problem.
Should be running this afternoon.
Beans are off here too. So I took the Snapper 1650 out and got the plow set. Plowed about a quarter acre and lost drive and hydraulic. Towed back to shop and found that someone had welded the spline coupler to the hydro pump and it let go. Drilled and tapped a hole though the coupler and shaft. Made a few rounds and it seems to be holding till we make a permanent fix.
Looks like we are back online again.
Should be a great time.

Got the parts today for the Suntrand hydro.
It's back together again.
Ready to install tomorrow.
Also got a 3 point to sleeve adapter finish tonight and able to adapt the sleeve hitch plows to our Cat 0 3 point.
Been a great day.
Mike
See you Friday.
Will be Hungry.:bounce:

Your on for supper Ducky. The weather forecast calls for 70 degrees and sunny on Saturday! It is dry here but the ground should still plow nice. We will have a machine shed to set up tables in, and are going to have a keep it simple lunch of hot dogs, beans, chips, coffee, pop and water. If someone wants something else the local bar/resturant is only a couple miles away and we could phone in an order to pickup. It should be a fun day for our first attempt at a plow day. I am looking forward to a great day of playing with our tractors. I might have to bring the Farmall H with the loader to help clean up all the left over BS!

Well we get everything put back together yesterday and and 2 of the plows setup and adjusted.
The other 2 will have to be setup to the tractor at Glen's. Just out of time.
Be loading later this morning and should be in Durand about 5 PM.

Just a quick update on the plow day. We had a great turnout of tractors and people. We had 16 tractors plowing and managed to turn over about 15 acres! We had quite a few people come out and watch and help with the BS. The local paper had a photographer come out and do a story on the plow day. He had never heard of such an event before but spent quite a while out there talking to people and taking pictures. It will be interesting to see his article this week.
I have a lot of pictures and video to download and share with you guys. I am going to work on that tomorrow.
Thanks Glenn for getting the plow day together! There were a lot of big boys out playing with their toys and having a great time.
