Picked up my (NTM) John Deere today, along with a JD cart!

Seller told me they had bought it new for their son, who is now 39 years old.  Looks to be in overall good condition, but needs a paint job & new decals:

It will be restored, then set up for parade use on the jD #10 dump cart, along with the others:

Nice one Lowell. Is that what's known as the 520? Congrats on the purchase, and I'm sure it'll look great when finished!

Yes, Ertl, copyright on the box is 1997, item #5917, original price sticker is $26.35.  I found it on Ebay, there are a couple on there now, under "John Deere pedal tractor in "Toys & Hobbies"  ~~  Lowell

I was curious why this was not posted in the John Deere section.  So I looked and realized you did get the right spot.  Cool little tractor, sounds like you know the history of it which makes it even better.  Nice Find
