I mostly listen to Christian Rock, (K-Love is on all over the country). Other then that I listen to Classic Southern Rock or good ole 60-70's Country. Johnny Cash is one of my all time favorites even since Dad brought home "Folsom Prison Blues" on 8-track when I was about 6.

What Kind Of Music Do You Guys Listen To?

Oh boy I could go on for a long time on this topic ---
I listen to everything from Karl Orff 's Carima Buama to Concrete Blonde to Sisters of Mercy, Mix in some fingerstyle from Loe Kottke or Michael Hedges ( okay - he's his own guy) and then throw in some Diana Krall. Toss in some Korn, some Rusty Eyed peas, and now we have a nice meal on top of the Meatloaf.
My Grooveshark radio station looks like a presription for ADHD!

Dr. Demento collection.
I used to listen to him when I was a kid. Some of songs he played were unreal.
Do you remember "The Great American Smoke Off"??

Remind me not to take a long road trip with you guys..........
I mostly listen to hard rock, metal, classic rock, and country. It all depends who's in the vehicle with me.Some of the bands i like are.Metallica (the first 5 albums new stuff is a waist of time)Megadeth,Pantera, Disturbed,Coal chamber,Godsmack,Slayer,Korn,Motley Crue,Guns and Roses,System of a down.Maryln Manson,Led Zeplin,Pink Floyd.Thats what i came up with off the top of my head.I know there's more.
I think you guys forgot a few like Slip Knot, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Jackyl....... Can't think of more either.
It depends what I'm doing. Just working in the shop Classic rock (only station can get in), masking off custom paint jobs (flames, strips) classical, clears my mind for full concentration. When road tripping with the family old school country ( Johnny, Willy, Waylon), not the new twaingy stuff, although there's something about "Red Solo Cup" that gets a person in the right mood When driving down the road its gotta be the heavy rock or old AC/DC with Bon Scott on the vocals. I guess pretty much anything other than hip hop, the wife went soft and is trying to brainwash my kids into thinking its "music"
But when they're going down the road with dad they're singin and head banging right along with me.

I listen to whatever moves me at the moment. I try not to limit what I listen to by genre, but I don't like all songs. The presets on my car radio are...eclectic at best LOL. I do make a point of listening to what my kids are into (boy is that difficult sometimes!!!) because I like to know what is influencing them. I have found that there can be artistic merit and talent in just about any genre of music. But like most of you, there's a classic rock station on the stereo in the garage that doesn't change often

Doctor Demento rings a very faint bell somewhere back in the fog shrouded memories of high school and early college days. Gonna have to Google that now, thanks!
