We currently have a tie for the February Tractor of the month between ALC and BoostedBuick with 22 votes apiece.  Believe it or not this has not happened before so we have been talking about how to resolve the issue.  We have been talking about a couple of way to deal with this but would like the imput from you all on how you would like to see it resolved.

One issue is that only one can be featured in LAGT so keep that in mind as well.

1: We can hold a 1 or 2 day run off and allow you all to decide.

2: Both can share the title and they can decide which one would be featured in LAGT.

Currently we are leaning towards a run off to run the weekend, but let us know you thoughts.  We do need to make a decision soon so we need your ideas in short order.

Thanks

The Staff

#2 isn't really fair IMO even if they get to decide.  Somebody gets hurt.

To me it's simple, have a one day sudden death vote off.  Run it from 9:00 AM until, say, 9:00 PM.  If we have a tie at 9:00, next registered vote wins.

I want to get ALC on live chat and rock paper scissors for the title!  Best of 3 or straight up, your choice!

:D  I don't take anything seriously :poke:

Do we have time to round up sponsers that will pay 3M for commercials and a big half time extravaganza?

Do whatever you need to do to get the vote out but I would say that nobody can vote until they post at least three pictures of their tractors!

I think this would work, Maybe a little longer voting time though.

I gave it 12 hours because I wasn't real sure of what kind of time frame we are working with.  If we do it on a weekend, I think 12 hours is enough.  Maybe more if its on a week day.  I don't like to drag things on and on and I don't think anybody else wants that either.  It might be fun to start a campaign thread to see what these guys come up with.  State your case, why should we vote for your tractor?  I don't want to blow this thing out of proportion so how ever the mods want to handle it is cool with me.

We don't want to drag this thing our either.  But a little blurb from each nominee might not be a bad Idea.

Probably better than the GT Smackdown... not near as entertaining though.

I imagine that won't happen often.  I would submit that in the instance of a tie, the member involved in the tie that submitted/nominated their tractor first should be the winner.

That is a great point Dave. I tend to voice my opinion on using this method especially for future tie breakers. I also like the idea of the run off as well.

That seems fair. Thats how they do it on "Pass Time".. fastest RT. That may get entries in earlier in the month too.
