Jack, Shandon Iron didn't have anything to do with Diamond.  The reason I asked is that I ran Shandon Iron for a number of years, before it closed.

I'm real familiar with the Diamond folks though.  Those trailers are as maneuverable as heck.

When they leave the plant/headquarters in Shandon, they go through Ross to get to the Freeway. In Ross they have to go through an odd intersection.  In the pic below, they would come from the left side, and then make the 'jog' an go to the upper right.  I stopped at that gas station every morning for coffee, a donut, and a can of cat food for the junkyard cat  that I had named dCon.  Every now and then I would see them come through that intersection and it was always neat to watch.

That would be the rare 2+2 model.  That thing is close to me.  He has been trying to sell it for a while.  Looks like that price is dropping too.

Jack..

Yep, been on there since last spring, some of the things you see on CL.

Jack, small world, I'm in FF twp not far from the fairgrounds.

So OB, you like that intersection huh? LOL My tax lady is right around the corner from there, I also took EMT classes at the Ross firehouse right acroos from that gas station.

Well, if you look closer, other than the custom made Aluminum Diamond Plate hood, the rest of the tractor was left untouched.

He made a custom seat mount that uses the stock mounting bolts, and the front end is attached without butchering up the tractor.

It could probably be put back into 'stock' condition in an hour or so as long as you had the removed parts handy.

"Shandon Iron & Steel"  I have heard of it but cant say I know anything about it.   Shandon is a tiny little town with maybe one stop sign.  Not much of anything there except these guys.  http://www.diamondheavyhaul.com/  They build and haul some amazing stuff. The iron and steel thing could be part of them.

Jack..

Thanks for posting that link.

Real interesting, and amazing. Never seen a rig that big.

I would take it if it was closer.Look closely at it and you will see that the Tractor it's self was not modded.Just a couple of bolt on "Options" that can easily be removed.

Square tubing in place of the front axle and an extension and the original axle is up front.Rear fender wasn't chopped up either, just a square tube chassis for the seats. And there are 3 nice looking spare seats that I could use on other GTs.

If it was closer and maybe $100 cheaper I would get it.
