Most equipment is, that Cat was a mid 50's vintage with a pony engine to start it, so someone had to know what they were doing, I learned how to start that when I was about 8 years old. Always a joy to see the smoke rings coming out of the stack when she first fired up !!!

Oh yes! The old pony starter. I always liked them. They do take a little experience to start.

That tractor is in a scrap yard somewhere. Probably was never even unloaded off the trailer.

You just made yourself a suspect. :rolling:  :rolling:

Maybe Chip Foose took it. :D

It would be back within a week with giant wheels and an ugly paint job by now. not to mention all of the hard to believe phone calls.

I don't know what this says about our area but ...

It appears your garbage is no longer safe from thieves in Belleville.

Our newsroom has been receiving reports of bag tags being taken from garbage curbside ready for pickup.

It’s believed suspects will take them off garbage and either thrown them out or put them on their own bags.

Belleville Police say one way to avoid this is to put your garbage out in the morning.

No key needed for that tractor. Just 5 minutes, a tilt bed and a winch. Color it gone. 4 hours later it's all parted out and on it's way to the iron pile. Betting there was no record of the serial numbers either.
