That is sad! Likely only parts would be found. Though I knew a guy who had a Rental Store in the Dallas area and the John Deere Compact he had stolen was found by the Dallas Police 7 yrs later after he had sold out and moved to Colorado?

That tractor is in a scrap yard somewhere. Probably was never even unloaded off the trailer.

Looks like it sat there for a while before the pic was taken. A tempting target for someone wanting parts or scrap.

More than likely parted out or scrapped. Someone had a way to move it and a winch to load it for sure.

Most equipment is easy to steal, they all use the same key. And some don't even have a key, just a battery disconnect, I have a key for one of those.

Now THAT sounds like a great reality show!!  Like the house remodel thingy, but with tractors and equipment.

Golf cars get stolen all the time too. About 95% use the same keys.

Most equipment is, that Cat was a mid 50's vintage with a pony engine to start it, so someone had to know what they were doing, I learned how to start that when I was about 8 years old. Always a joy to see the smoke rings coming out of the stack when she first fired up !!!
