After reading the title and then the poll, I thought what are we getting set up for.  Yea but think of all the times we refer to the plowing and such as fun and change it to work-now they may be thinking the same way-this is fun.

#2 would be the obvious choice if it read "Trade her in for a younger, more aggressive model

Hey thanks for all the input guys.  The ambiance at this place seemed to be a little on the down side lately, I thought maybe a little rewording of my tale could cheer things up a bit.

If you always say you've been working plowing etc. , she might think otherwise when she does it and decides its fun . Then lookout for those awful words ( entertain  mother for me ) .

Greg, Go buy her a GT, let her rebuild it and then you take to the shows with out her, just kidding. :smilewink:

At least she didn't say "I WILL get HALF!!!" :bigrofl: :bigrofl:

Keep her, reward her and clone her so I can buy one, mine just shakes her head as she comes out to the shop to tell me dinner is getting cold and headed for the trash if I don't get inside and eat. :wallbanging:

Over the last 30 years I've given my wife several tractors to use. An original Cub Cadet, Ford 2000, Simplicity Broodmoor, and an Agway. The Cub is gone, Simplicity is dead, she can no longer climb into the 2000 but she uses the Agway in the gardens plenty. Since the 30+ tractors are "ours" she rarely says anything about the parking lot that our back lawn has become.

The only correct answer is "thank her and then you do the dishes for her".

One of my most favorite memories of late was at dusk, late in the winter a few years ago I came home from a 36 hr stint of plowing big commercial lots with big stinking loaders with 16 foot plows. When I arrived here in my driveway there  was my wife, running the little 648 loader and my kid pushing a shovel. Man, that was a great night. :-)
